- Postdoctoral and PhD positions: We currently do not have open postdoctoral or PhD researcher positions. However, please reach out to Suzette (suzette.flantua at uib.no) if you are interested in developing a collaborative grant proposal together or writing a fellowship application to join us.
- Master projects: We welcome master students from the University of Bergen and beyond to come join us! We can talk about your interests and your involvements in our project. We have a number of potential projects related to:
- assessing global patterns of alpine biodiversity (plants, birds, mammals, reptiles)
- assessing paleo-environments in mountains worldwide (e.g. how did the climate in mountains change during the last 120 thousand yr?)
- assessing the spatial distribution of glaciers and mountain ecosystems through time
- assessing how well is alpine biodiversity protected in mountains worldwide?
- assessing how will climate will change in the future in mountains worldwide, and is alpine biodiversity under pressure?
- assessing high-resolution remote sensing images for the detection of alpine-glacier transition zones and changes through time.
